The 300 Prospective Marriage Visa or ‘Fiance’ visa can be applied for if you are offshore. Once granted the applicant is able to move to Australia on a 9-15 month temporary visa. After the visa is granted you can get married (either inside or outside of Australia) and move to Australia. You must apply for the 820 Spouse Visa within this time period.
