Student Visa’s allow you to come to Australia to Study. Overwhelmingly this is for Degree or Masters level courses, but it is also possible for children to study in primary and high school, learn English doing an ELICOS course, or do trades, pHD and Masters by Research Courses.
Due to the overwhelming demand for student visa’s in Australia, the government is in the process of restricting the number of student visa’s that are available, and a number of restrictions are being placed on international students to ensure that only genuine students are coming to Australia.
For many students it is the goal to achieve permanent residence. If permanent residence is your goal, then we highly recommend that you study a degree or masters degree in a Medical or Nursing field, or Information Technology, Engineering or Teaching. There are some other fields that are in demand, and we can discuss these with individuals.
Student Visa’s can be applied for if you are offshore, or if you are onshore, provided you do not hold a tourist or 485 graduate visa.
