Mutual Commitment

Committed couples have knowledge of each others parents and family members, they remain in touch if they are separated, they are aware of each other medical histories and medications, they combine their personal matters, such as wills and provide for each other in case of death, such as by nominating their partner as a death beneficiary in a Superannuation Account.

There is no exhaustive list of documents, We recommend the following.

1. Wills should be obtained and provided.
2. Superannuation Death Beneficiary Nomination (or equivalent)
3. Phone Logs / Text Messages when separated. One page 
4. Statements in the Personal Statements, relating to meeting the wider family, issues with medications and providing emotional support to each other
