Relationship Register

If you are applying as a de facto couple, you can register your relationship in various states of Australia in order to avoid showing 12 months of living together. There is no requirement for you to register your relationship and you are unable to do so if one of your is currently married, but we recommend that your do register your relationship if you are eligible, as it simplifies the application process.

Note: Western Australia has a relationship register, but you can not use it for Migration Purposes. The Northern Territory does not offer a relationship register. In Tasmania, both people are required to reside in Tasmania, so it is not available for offshore applicants.

The Dragon Migration Website contains links to all Australian relationship register sites here.
