Living Together

If you are in a de facto relationship and need to show 12 months living together, then you need a 12 month history of documents showing that you have been at the same address. Each person can provide a different set of documents, if you dont have a single document listing you both (like a lease).

If you are married or have a relationship register, you still need to show that your are currently living together, or explain why you are living apart.

1. Rental Agreement in both names.
2. Property Ownership in both names.
3. Both Drivers Licenses showing the address.
4. Bank Statements showing the address. (Just the page with the address.)

Note: even if you are living apart, it’s wise to send all post/bills to the address that will be your joint permanent address.
