How will you financially support your trip.
- last 3 months of bank statements showing saving history, regular earnings and final balance
- regular income from pensions, investments if not working.
- payslips for the period
- credit card statements are only accepted where applicants show they pay down their balances
- self employed people, need evidence of business registration, tax records showing business income
- offers of support from family and friends, provide income/bank accounts to show you can provide the support
You are NOT required to purchase airline tickets, accomodation etc. You can obtain quotes for your itiniery to demonstrate the total cost of your trip, and then use the financial documents above to show you have the capacity to afford the trip.
The government does not consider short term bank deposits as an adequate means of financial support, as these funds can be recycled.
